After getting engaged we discussed our ideal wedding. The one thing we both agreed on (see here for things we didn’t agree on…) was that we wanted a venue where all our friends and family could stay, celebrate and party to the wee hours.
We have exclusive use of the hotel from 11am on the Saturday until 11am on the Sunday, which means we have 30 rooms to stumble back to.
The barn shuts at midnight, but hotel guests will be able to carry on the party in the Manor House until the Scots have drunk the English under the tables!
For all those not staying, you will need to arrange carriages for midnight. Pre-booking a taxi is essential due to the remote location.
Getting there
There is a large car park for those travelling by car. Use the postcode BH24 4BS to arrive at the hotel.
Those travelling by train the closest station is Brockenhurst which is on the mainline from London & Bournemouth. A taxi from Brockenhust to Burley Manor will take 15 minutes (please pre-book).
For those flying, Bournemouth airport is a 20 minute drive, Southampton is 25 minutes or London Heathrow is an hour and 15.
